How long has S.O.U.L been around? S.O.U.L - Seekers Of Unexplained Louisiana was founded in February of 2006. What made you decide to create S.O.U.L? I have had a lot of personal experiences with the paranormal and I wanted to join in the search for the truth. I wanted to be able to prove whether or not all the things I, and many others experience are really paranormal, and if they are not I would like to be able to put people's mind's at ease with this proof. What does S.O.U.L actually do? We are a group of individuals who have gotten together to do some paranormal research and investigation. We investigate paranormal activity by combining modern technology such as emf, evp, and video with older methods such as dowsing rods. We are more than just an investigation team. We try to help in other ways as well. If we find that a place is haunted, I like to offer solutions to help these people deal with their situations. Such as having the house blessed, or smudging it with sage, burning candles, etc. Depending on the person's beliefs and wishes. Where do you investigate? We cover all of Louisiana. However, if you do not live in Louisiana don't hestitate to contact us anyway as we do refferals. If you live in outside of our area, we would be happy to help you find a trustworthy team in your area that can assist you further. When do you investigate? We generally do investigations on Saturday nights because most of our members have day jobs during the week. However we have done investigations on other nights if there is an emergency. Our team will determine if it is an emergency by interviewing the client and checking out the location in question before the investigation. The times we investigate are between 10pm & 5am. Some investigations will not last that long. It all depends on the activity occuring and our team's stamina. We will also actually arrive earlier than 10pm to the location. This way our team can see the location in the light to avoid uncessary injuries (such as the hole they can't see at night.) This also allows us time to get paperwork signed, set up the equipment, and interview the client involved. How much do you charge? Nothing, we are a non profit . We do however accept donations. Although our services are free, the cost of running the team is not. :) How do I get S.O.U.L to do an investigation? The first step is to fill out the online investigation request form.
