1. Please note that we currently only conduct investigations in Louisiana. Therefore, you must live in Louisiana in order for us to investigate your location. If for some reason we cannot take your case, even if you live in Louisiana, we will refer you to a trustworthy team. If you live outside Louisiana we will gladly refer you to a reputable team in your area, if available. 2. We will NEVER charge for an investigation. 3. If you contact us to request an investigation we ask that you submit the investigation request form found on this site. This is so we can obtain some important information from you in order to better assist you in your situation. We will contact you using the number that you supply on this form to discuss it in further detail. A link to this form can be found on the home page of this site. 4. Once we have reviewed your case and determined how we can help, (either by investigating your location or referring you to another team) we will contact you. If we are able to do the investigation ourselves, we will then set up a meeting. 5. At this meeting, we will discuss the details of the case, including the day/time we will be conducting the investigation. We will also need to take a tour of your location, and gather any information from you about the paranormal activity experienced there. (i.e.: Someone has heard footsteps on the stairs.) We need you to be as specific as possible. Be sure to include the place the activity occurred as well as estimated time, and what type of activity was experienced (noise, shadows, etc.) In addition to this, there are some required forms to sign, and we must see proof of id and ownership. You must provide proof of age (you must be over 18) and proof that you own the location you want investigated. From here, you will be asked to read and sign the following forms at the meeting. (These are a legal necessity to protect you, S.O.U.L- Seekers Of Unexplained Louisiana, and the members of S.O.U.L – Seekers Of Unexplained Louisiana.) Terms Of Service Agreement Form – You will be supplied with a form, which states the exact terms of service located on the website page. You must read and agree to these terms by signing this form. Privacy Policy Agreement Form – You will be supplied with a copy of the privacy policy. By signing the privacy policy agreement, you are saying that you have read the privacy policy and agree to its terms. Proof of Age & Identification Form- The first form states that you have shown us and we have seen proof of age and identification, such as a valid driver’s license or state ID. You will need to sign it verifying that you have shown us this information. Proof of Ownership Status Form – This form is for property owners that wish us to investigate. It states that you are the legal owner of the property you wish us to investigate, and that you have shown us proof of this. *Please, note that if you rent the property you are responsible for getting permission from the property owner. You must set up a meeting with yourself, a founder of S.O.U.L, and the property owner where we may discuss the case and get the proper forms signed. Acknowledgment of Recording Procedures - The law requires that we notify you that we use recording devices on investigations and there is a high possibility you will be recorded on investigations. This form explains this in detail. Investigation Permission Form - This form gives us your authorization to do an investigation on your property. |
